Scrapping, scrapping & scrapping
Well I am officially pooped. I have been scrapping almost non-stop for the past six hours, finishing up some projects, trying out various colors for the projects and I am finally satisfied with what I have done. Quite happy now although tired. I am just gonna veg after this with a hot cuppa and freshly made yummy, sticky cinnamon rolls. Oooh they are to die for!! Home made too...Life can't get any better. (My doctor had best not know my URL or he will kill me for eating) Thursday should be a fun day as I get to go for a class...I am trying to decide what pics I am gonna use for the claass but I think I will go with the Puppy Love theme. I have done quite a few LOs and a whole album on my wedding, I think I need a break from it and focus on boy and dog.

Ok, so I know that this is long overdue. I have been doing a lot of resting prior to the surgery and finally I was operated on (19th Nov). Needless to say the hospital stay was not the most pleasant. Apart from being in pain, discovering the joy of having an arterial spray and being put in the high dependency ward...well the list just goes on. On a lighter note, (note the pun), I have lost about 14kg, so yes happier and lighter.
The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind. With countless appointments at the doctors, and classes, plus all the scrapping that i have been doing...well its been eventful and to some extent enjoyable.
I finally did go back to school...just to clear my table cos the school is doing some renovations. I did not realise how much stuff I have accumulated in a span of three years....It took two cab rides just to bring the stuff back and I still have yet to sort it out. Sigh.
Well yesterday was a lot of fun. Made With Love had the grand opening of their new wing which primarily focuses on the Sizzix. Be still my beating heart........I know I can just go in there and spend spend spend!!!! Oh boy...But we had a real fun "TO-DIE-FOR Crop and cute lil Make and Takes. Of course a glass of Moet Chandon made the festivities complete!!! Thanks, Elvi.....

Well I know its been a while since my last post, and yes one of the new year resolutions is to post more frequently of the stuff that i have done and the latest events in my life.....Here are a bunch of pics of the LOs that i have done recently, a couple of projects and pics of the opening that I was at yesterday....

Well so much for the store bought embellies.....Although I love them and have spent loads of money on this...(much to my husband's disgust)!!! I still like cutting out patterned paper and designing my own borders and stuff like that......

And here's a closer look at the cut out patterned paper which i embellished with crystals and Stickles. One of the best things about living in Singapore is that you can buy crystals relatively cheaply in bulk at Arab Street. The varieties will blow your mind!!!

Been a while...
I know its been a while since the last post. My lil boy has not been well, in fact he was not in school for about a week with a tonsil infection. That was so not cool. Well he is much better now and thankfully I got to scrap too, in between his naps and late into the night when he was asleep.
I have not been shopping much at the stores lately. Decided that it was high time i used the mounds of paper and embellies that i have at home. I am such a hoarder!!!! So i decided to use some store bought embellies to create a couple of pages.

This little border was hand stamped with Hero Arts long border birthday celebration stamps!! I colored each individual cupcake and then used Glossy Accent to give it a nice finish. I then added some crystal to give the border some dimension.

Finally having the courage...
For a long time, I have been one of these silent scrappers. I finally decided to go ahead and answer the DT calls. After talking to a good friend, (she is a wonderful source of inspiration) I decided to take the plunge. I have thoroughly enjoyed myself the past few days working on the LOs. The comments that I received on my LOs also have been a source of inspiration. To the members of the Made With Love Community Board who commented on the LOs, a really BIG THANK YOU for encouragement.
Although I am on long leave now, and yes I do miss my job, I am looking forward to seeing how far scrapbooking will take me, whether now or in the future.
Here are the LOs that I completed today......
